Networking community of artists, promoting, encouraging and supporting public and private artistic ventures.
To encourage and inspire, with imagination, all that our historic downtown Manchester can be, through arts and cultural activities. This all volunteer organization plans events throughout the year, with their main calendar offerings once a month from May through September. Crafters, vendors, artisans, musicians, makers, dancers, actors, poets and those who love the arts will be engaged with the community at these events. Published dates and information will be made available at various town-wide locations at least one week prior to the events. For information, go to the website or the Facebook page.
Formed in 1960, Little Theatre of Manchester is an all volunteer theater company producing five mainstage productions each year, along with free play readings and the LTM Lunchtime Lecture series. Volunteers are always welcome and training is provided in all categories of theater arts. Casting is open to all, based on the qualities prescribed by the director of each show. LTM is located at historic Cheney Hall, and 1867 Federally designated historic site.
